this thing just won't engage. It clicks and has pressure, but the brake doesn't grab. Need some help...thanks!

 

same here just havnt had time to get iton the lift and check it out thinking it needs to be adjusted back out just no time. let ya know when i do.

 

Do you live somewhere where they use a lot of road salt? The shoes in my e-brake fell out after the pins holding them rusted away from severe amounts road salt corrosion. Had them replaced at my next service for $100.

 

I am still trying to figure this out...ANY HELP PLEASE!!!

 

The mecanism is a hook that pivots at the bottom of the hub. Maybe the cable has gotten unhooked from the pivot. to access it, you need to remove your wheel and discs and it is located at the bottom.
