Hi All,

We are shopping for an XC90 in Southern Cal. We will go as far as the bay area or Phoenix for the right deal. Maybe even Sacramento. We know we want a 2007 or newer with the V8 or 3.2 V6. Looking for a model less than 25K miles.

Any tips or advice for buying our new ride? Where to go/not to go? Stories or experiences good or bad? Things to look for or avoid?

From the little I have researched the XC90 it sounds like you are on the right path. I came very close to buying the T6 until I did a little research and just said no way. V8 or 3.2 is the only way to go. I saw a beautiful red with charcoal interior for sale on e-bay with the V8. It was in NC though and they wanted $30K+. I will have one within the next three years though.
