I have an xc90 but, having issues with my insurance.
they asked me to send them a picture of my odometer. Of anyone out there has mileage in the low to mid 30,000's, please send me a picture of your odometer.

Sounds pretty shady. I don't think anyone wants to help you commit insurance fraud.

 

That's not what it is. My mileage is in the mid 30,000's. However, my odometer light is out, and I've yet to get it to the dealer to fix it.

 

You may not fully appreciate what you are doing. Sending a known false photo to your insurance carrier, regardless of the reason, can be viewed as fraud and invalidate your policy. My suggestion is to let your carrier know that the lighting portion of the cluster is out and that you are going to get it fixed. Do that and then send a photo of the mileage.

As an alternative, the mileage can be read by a scan tool. See if they will accept the dealer's data capture of the mileage in lieu of the photo.
