Default XC90 Rebuild?

Hello, brand new here. Last year I bought an '06 S40 that was kinda rough (didn't run well, sloppy suspension, wheel bearings, axle shafts, dirty, smelly, etc) After a year of work I came away very impressed with how well built and the thoughtful design touches that it had.
So much so that I figured that when it came time to get back into an SUV that I would only look at Volvo XC90's.
Well there is now one for sale for very low money and relatively low mileage, the only catch is it has suffered the fate of clogged sunroof drains and substantial overflowing water into the cabin.
The msg center is saying anti-skid system problem, air bag system problems, the radio doesn't turn on, the climate control controls power up but the blower doesn't run.
I have done some calculating for the parts I know I'll need based on e-bay amounts and leaving some room for unknowns it may make sense monetarily to take the project on. The car does run, shift, brake, and drive just fine though which is why I'm even considering it.
My question is, will used parts from another vehicle work if transplanted or will I need to have a dealer reprogram them or something? Also, is there anything else that I should watch out for with that car especially since it's been so badly flooded.

Thanks for any advice.

So does anybody have any thoughts on this? The price keeps lowering and I'm getting nervous about making a decision.
Thank you..

I think for the most part you should be fine. When you will need a dealer's input will be like when the key doesn't work, and you find out that you need to hit the lock and un lock 3 times, in close proximity to the ignition. then that doesn't work. Then you will need to see a dealer, (or new keys)
If you unplug something that is plugged into the computer, and forgot to unplug the battery. you will get a persistent message on the dashboard. (I had taken out the seats, and the seat belt monitor system, determined my middle row, middle seat was an issue. )(Dealer read the code, and reset computer. It was ok after that)
The stereo you will find is part of the "MOST" fibre optic sound system. That might be problem matic, if your new one doesn't get accepted by the car computer. (to the dealer) (MOST is a security system, a quick google search will tell you more)
I am super lucky, my dealer will do free computer warning inspections free. So most everything up there was inexpensive dealer visit. The key was $300. new and programmed. I found the leaking sunroof, it was better to get tube that goes over the existing tube, and run it into the firewall, like the original boot does. That boot, even if you get a new one, does feel like its is almost deteriorated. secure it with hose clamps. Then remove the passenger seat, and see if the electronics are shot under that seat? I think I got lucky, and mine was fine. but I still had to remove the floor-ing, and dry it out. due to the flooding. supposedly the material may not mold, its not worth the risk. I like to rub Oxy-clean powder, and rinse/rub it in. (it bleaches your hands really good) Good luck. You can read my trails and tribulations on here. my car is doing good now. ever time I think I am at 3 more items to fix, there is more. my current 3 is, rear brakes/parking brake shoes, AC compressor, oil cooler. Everything is working as it should. Sometime when I am board, I would like to see if there a service near me, that will replace the ceiling pad. The AC I think I can get a local AC check shop, to vacuum it out, and I can replace the parts (order a kit from Rockauto, or something), Oil cooler, or something is leaking so little, I cannot find the drips after moving the car, that the coolant system pressure-izes, and I have to burp the coolant ever 3rd trip. Oil cooler was identified last fall, as bad. I wish you luck. Take your time.

The anti skid light is likely the yaw sensor under the passenger seat. They get flooded when the drains clog. A used one will work.

If your radio needs a new ICM, a used one will not work. The blower problem may be a bad blower motor or resistor, which you can go with used for. If its a bad CCM, used may work if it is from another car with the same configuration but will likely require programming. For the ICM and CCM, look into xemodex.com
