Default XC90 Twin Engine Jack

I just received my 2019 XC90 Twin Engine 8 Gear 7 Seater (Inscription). Looks and feels great, But there is no place for a spare wheel anymore, so they also saved on the car jack and related equipment. For that, it comes with an electric tire pressure pump and some hole-fixing lubricant.

Though I would like to replace winter tires for summer tires and that requires jacking up the car. Does anyone here bother to make me a picture of the 2019 (or 2018 - I don't think these are so different) car jack as delivered with your car? That would help me making sense of where the right jack points are and how to ensure the car is jacked up correctly....?

T H A N K S !!

Jacking points are in your owner's manual.

ES6T...sure I have seen the drawing in the manual. But this is not 100% clear without seeing the top of the jack.

Take a look under the car, you'll see the jacking points are quite obvious. There's a hard plastic pad where the jack goes.

I see the plastic next to the back wheels, but nothing the like on the front wheels (there where the instruction book says one should put the jack). On the front I only see iron with a hole or two.

From the owners manual... look for the triangle in the rocker cover. Generally speaking you can jack up a car using weld seams - just not the flat panels. The factory marked jack point are on the weld seams and provide proper balance when lifting the wheel.

mt6127 - thanks. My owners manual does only show the left side picture of the picture you provided in your answer, without the inset showing the triangles. On the front side, this is how it looks like where the red marks of the right picture you provided are: (pretty sturdy iron, about 1-1.5 mm thick.), and it is right where the triangle is...

Toni - I have exactly the same query (2020 XC90 T8). My jacking points exactly as yours ie differ front and rear - I note replies which told you what you already knew but did you ever get a photo of the jack as you had requested?
