V70 Drivers Axle - WILL NOT COME OUT. HELP!!!
hi gentlemen! So I am helping myself to a untold amount of abuse, trying to get out this driver side axle.
So far here's what I have tried:
1. Cold Chisel
2. Carpenters Bar
3. Pry Bar
4. Rotary Hammer
5. Torch and Heat
6. Pb Blaster
7. 4lb Hammer
8. More hammer
9. More chisel and hammer
10. 2 chisels wedged while using regular and a rotary hammer
11. Mjolnir
I'm out of ideas, unless I can try to hammer out the axle from the passenger side?!?
I've been at this for 13 hours. I hate this axle. Please help me kill it.

The reason they can be such a pain to get out sometimes is the darn circlip in the groove that holds it into the transmission. I've struggled with a few of them myself, and I've just learned that prybars on 2 sides of the axle with a swift impact motion is generally the most effective. Keep in mind that it's getting that little circlip to compress enough to allow it to release - so try rotating the axle to different positions if the above method still isn't producing results.
