Default Volvo Electrical Problem

the soda could have left some residues that are shorting out the wiring so a solid cleaning is due or you may have some corrosion (Coke is acidic - it can be used to take paint off things like golf club heads!). I had a friend who's battery kept dying and it turned out there was an orange peel in the lighter socket! The shifter **** should pull straight up and off.

Ok, so the **** is out. Is there a video or step by step anyone could recommend for cleaning this sucker out? I’ve replaced the CCM at this point and the blower still won’t turn off.
