New car with cracked windshield
Hello all,
My sister just bought a new Volvo V60 last Thursday. Upon arriving home, I noticed a stress crack around 12-14 inches on the windshield (driver's side behind the sun visor) and pointed it out to her. She said she had noticed it at the dealer but thought that it was some kind of defrosting strip. I also noticed that there weren't any Volvo logos stamped on the windshield. Is it normal? Long story short, the next day my sister drove the car back to the dealer and they agreed to replace the windshield. I just have a feeling that some information was not being properly disclosed to my sister at the time of purchase. I tried to contact Volvo customer support and the rep was not willing to intervene, saying that it is between us and the dealer. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Kris

Young car with stress crack
I purchased a 1 year old s60 approved used 2 months ago. But I've just noticed a stress crack behind the rear view mirror today. This likely happened in the time I've had it but it's been driven on good roads. There is clearly no stone chip and I wonder if anyone else had experienced this? It appears to me to be a fault rather than damage caused by something.
