Hello, all. I just signed up here after buying our second Volvo:
My new longroof
2019 V-60 R-design, Polestar, sport suspension, advanced package, rear seat heaters, T6 AWD. In the background is the car that got us into Volvos, my wife's 2017 S60 Inscription Platinum T5 AWD.
We'd never really been a Volvo family, but when we were shopping for her car a couple years ago, the S60 really caught our attention, despite being near the end of its generation's model run. Due to our great experience with the Acura TSX way in the back, we were shopping the TLX as our most likely candidate, but it left us flat. We liked the BMW 330i, but didn't like the Audi A3 sedan. Wild card was a Ford Fusion Sport with the Ecoboost V6 - plenty of power, but just not that fun to drive. We ended up in the S60 and have been enjoying it ever since.
I was looking at a couple leftover 2018 V60s, but they sold before I finally got around to pulling the trigger. Once I had the new car bug, I started shopping 2019s. This one was identical to what I built using Volvo's online configurator, Bursting Blue color and all. After some back and forth, we closed a deal, and took the train north from the Philadelphia area to a dealer in Connecticut to pick it up about 10 days ago. It already has almost a thousand miles on it! With the P* upgrade, it's pretty quick for a 2-ton grocery getter.
I'm looking forward to sharing info with everybody here. Cheers!
when you noted it was two tons I was curious and saw that the 2019 V60s have a stated curb weight of 4004 lbs. Woof! My 850T Wagon was in the 3250 range if I recall...
