Volvo s60t headlamp wiper motors stopped working once I have a new alarm siren fitted and bonnet catch , now both motors are not working.
Can anyone help please.....
The garage said its not there problem as they never touched the motors while fitting the system.........was working before it went in.
Help needed please as they said I need two new motors now ....

 

start with fuses then relays.

 

Hi tanks for the reply. I have checked fuses but cannot work out the placement of the relays ?

Hi all is there anyway of testing the units before replacing them.....

 

find the connector to the motor - should be just inside the bumper (about 6-12 inches from the motor). You should be able to apply 12V and ground to the pins to see if it reacts. You can also put a meter on the other end of the connector to see if you get voltage when actuating the wipers
