Hi There, I have been on this forum before and got some great help when I had my V40 a couple of years ago, after getting shot of it due to one problem after another I went back to an old 740 estate I picked up on ebay for £150 and never had any trouble with it, other than the head lining falling off and my kids playing Knots and crosses on the foam underneath it, it looked great from the outside.
Anyway to cut a long story short I have upgraded to a 1997 940 estate which is great, now running on lpg but I locked it up this week using the key fob and returned to it and the fob would not work, I have opened it with the key and after reading my owners manual to get it to start have discovered that I can programme an old fob to my car without going to the dealers, would anyone have one they no longer need, I would be willing to pay a small reasonable price and can pay by paypal if you can post it to just outside Edinburgh.

Hi There, I forgot to add in the number from the back of the fob, it's the one with 2 grey buttons and the numbers are 9166158 and 898820
