240 rear door jammed shut
The rear door on the driver's side of my '86 240 wagon was sticking, but I could get it open. Then I got angry one day and slammed it. Bad move! Now I can't get it open. The inside door handle feels like it is working. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would it help to loosen the door hinges and try to wiggle the door back and forth? Help!

As it said, you can try pushing in to get it to release and then adjust the latch.

wd40 is a cleaner, and rust preventive, its not a good lubricant. its not a good penetrant either.
use some white lithium grease spray on the locks, applied where it needs to go, and wipe off where you don't want it, like the paint and the outside of the striker plates.. I put this on the back seat latches in my wagon, too, it stops them from squeaking and rattling on bumps and rough roads.
