Ive got an 86' 2409 DL Wagon with 279XXX on the clock. I have a stall issue lately. When I start the car up for the first time in a while(usually over night/morning starts) and put it into reverse to back out of my driveway, it immediately stalls. Its like putting it in reverse is turning the ignition to the off position. It wont do it after the car has been restarted. The tranny sometimes feels like it doesnt want to go into drive after this as well. Looking for some advice on where to look first.

I did a search for these issues, but was unable to turn anything up that was any real help.
