92 940 sunroof seal replacement
Hi, I'm new to these forums, I'm sorry if someone has already asked this question, but I didn't see an answer on here anywhere. My car has a metal sunroof, and the seal is in dire need of replacement. I am having a hard time finding a new one, so any help in locating one would be greatly appreciated.
the strip is Volvo part 3528809, but its NLA

you'll need to find some sort of generic weather stripping thats the right thickness and trim to fit.
note that seal is mostly to keep wind and debris out, its not actually keeping water out, the water that leaks around the sunroof is collected in a tray that has drain hoses in the 4 corners, front two go down the A pillars, rear two go down the C pillars, all 4 end up under the car.

You have to make sure the drain holes are unobstructed, two in the front corners, two in the back. I use a speedo cable to root the channels, the front ones are easy, the back are hard. I park facing front downhill if I have a leaker until fix it.

Actually they do. You just have to search thru the meriad of parts list. Like I said we have found 90 to 95% of our volvo parts there
Actually if I can't find it, it is no use to me or anybody else, not sure what a "meriad of parts list" is or how one can get into it. Looking for that seal on Rock Auto shows nothing useful. If you have a special way to find it, please share!
Click: volvo
Click: year-ours is a 92
Click: the style-ours is a 960
Then while in that window, go up to search bar and type in: sunroof seal
one will pop up..its 1.99 a foot...ours uses a 4 foot length
Hope that helps
How about just posting a link?
