I need

• Trunk door - current one has broken glass
• Front right turn light assembly
• Rear right tail lamp assembly (also need gasket)
• Hood
• Grille - no fog lamps

I read a couple threads saying these might not fit exactly.. any overall verdict on that before I pull em?
Mainly looking at just replacing the trunk door and hood for now, and I can get standard parts for the rest later.

 

Not clear what you are asking. "Trunk door", do you mean tailgate, as in a wagon?
1992 740 body panels will fit a 940, except the back... Tail lights, only the wagons, not sedans.
Grille, yes, nofog to nofog is OK, 940 is like a late 1991+ 740. (1990 740 front end is unique, some parts won't fit other years.)
Corner light, yes, no fog will fit.
1989 740 tailgate should fit a 940.

 

I knew Id leave out a few details. I have a 93 wagon and I need the tailgate. Both junkyard cars are wagons. I saw pics of the 89 wagon and its got the 4 bulb tail light I need. Everything seems like it will fit, wanted to make sure before hauling anything home. Appreciate the help.

 

The tail gate should fit just fine, tail lights and all.

I have a 91 740 wagon and am looking at what I believe to be a 84 sedan I need the front end from it and was just hoping to confirm that the parts would work they all seem like they would only difference is that the sedan has the four headlight setup and my wagon had the one large light.

 

Unfortunately, no. 1984 has a very different front end than a 1991, not just one vs two headlights.
