940 Turbo stalled won't start...
940 Turbo stalled and won't start--fuel pump relay is new, alternator works fine, battery is charged, starter is fine--could it be one of the fuel pumps? I've heard that the pump in the tank needs to be replaced regularly. Is it difficult to replace the pump in the tank?
Would agree with Lev on this one.
Even when my in-tank pump was bad, starting wasn't the issue, keeping it running was the issue. It would start up fine but then only idle for 2 minutes then die.
That in-tank pump isn't hard to replace but accessing it can be a pain.

when my in-tank pump was bad on my 92 745T, it ran worse when the tank was closer to empty, but the main fuel pump was noisy all the time. with sub-1/4 tank, if you did a full throttle-n-boost launch through the gears, it would bog out as it revved up in 3rd but recover when I let off the gas. new in-tank pump, and main pump went back to nearly silent, and all was well.
Apparantly some water had gotten inside the distributor cap. Funny--it stalled during a rainstorm on 2 occasions. So...thanks to all of you for your replies and for taking the time to think about this issue with me.
