Cool ac/heater speed selector switch for 1995 940 volvo

I have a 1995 volvo 940 wagon and the fan speed selector switch will not work. it feels like it is not making any contact to change the speeds of the fan. any advice on how to get to the fan speed selector and repairing it?

Is your fan on full blast regardless of the switch setting or is it not going on at all?

no, the switch does not run the fan at any speed. when I try to select a speed, the switch feels flat inside, there is no feel of a click when I turn the dial. there was a short time when we would leave the selector on a speed, and we hit a bump in the road that the fan would come on, but now nothing. there is no definite feel in the switch that it is going from one speed to another...does that make sense to you? that is the best way I can explain it...

You can either replace the fan switch or replace the entire A/C control module with a refurbished one.

I found a place in Atlanta that is selling me a selector switch for 20.00 and will warranty it for 90 days.
