IS THIS WITH THE FUSES AND RELAYS UNDER THE RADIO?

I SUSPECT IT TO BE MY PROBLEM

My tail lights also have a host of problems. THe indicators don't function nor do the back up lights and when I have either indicator engaged the brake lights on both sides flash. When I depress the brake pedal in drive the left indicator stops all together.

I have replaced the fuses cleaned all the contacts on the flasher and bulb relays-,

ISSUE WITH BACK-UP LIGHTS, TURN SIGNALS, AND BRAKE LIGHTS..........WHEN I BRAKE WITH TURN SIGNAL ON........WORKS FINE UNTIL I BRAKE............BACK-UP LIGHTS WORK FINE UNTIL I BRAKE

ICANT FIGURE IT OUT YET............... BUT MAYBE THIS IS MY FIX.....????????????????...

 

Yes it is located there. Back left hand corner.

 

Does your Cruise control work? If it doesn't then you can be sure its the Bulb Failure Relay that's causing the problem

I had the same problem on our car, Back brake lights weren't working, then a day later we noticed that the Cruise control wasn't working...read on here (this forum is great) that the Bulb failure relay was it- got a used one for $50 and bingo was your namo...fixed...although make sure the contacts are good and clean...first time I plugged it in it didn't fix the problem, then I cleaned the bulb sockets etc well and problem solved.

I have a spare actually. PM me with your address and we'll make an arrangement.

I grabbed one from the pick and pull just in case. That and a fuel control relay.

Mine messed up as well earlier, but I tested it and re-soldered some cracked connections and that fixed my problem.
