can i just change 9mm connecting rod to 13mm?

will the b21f M connecting rods fit 1984 B230f
1984 Volvo 240 GL b230f non turbo, the connecting rod has a M on it is it the same as the b21f M rods? i have to replace cil #1 rod, i see a set from a b21f the pistons are different but the rods look the same, are they the same length? i think mine are 9mm they also look 9mm
