Could their be damage if accidently tightened the crankshaft screw too much (B230F)?

Default Could their be damage if accidently tightened the crankshaft screw too much (B230F)?

It's supposed to be 60 nm + 60 degrees, I torqued it to 110 nm.

I wouldn't think so. Why don't just loosen it a bit? If it didn't break by now you should be fine; that's one big tough bolt!

Sounds good

You wouldn't happen to know why the manual says the following for the B230F:
Do not turn crankshaft or camshaft with timing belt removed. And when you do turn the crank, turn it only clockwise.

Because you will disturb the timing which I don't think is crucial since you will be redoing it any way.
Turning always clockwise, the way the motor turns, I'm not sure. Probably since it always goes that way. I've disregarded that advice many times on many motors.
