Default Dash board lights

I'm the proud owner of a 1991 240 (only 128k).One by one my dash board lights burned out.I think there are 2 of them.I took the center piece off and stopped. Is there an easy way to change the bulbs ?

Once you have the speedo cluster out it is pretty easy to replace the bulbs.

Here's one on ebay for sale http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1987-...spagenameZWDVWthat shows the backside of the cluster, it's not the greatest pic but it shows the 4 attach ears and the bulb holders. A good tip is to replace all of them while you have it out. Everytime I've just replaced one bad bulb, the other ones will tend to blow right afterwards. They are cheap and can be bought at most any parts store.
