front control arm bushings

Default front control arm bushings

is there anything one can use to quiet same? it's 15 deg F here and they are making some creaking noises. wd-40 maybe? or something else?

Brake fluid works and doesn't damage rubber. WD40 will damage rubber.

If they are creaking then they need replacing. The cause of creaking is the rubber has separated from the metal sleeve. I have the same problem on my mercedes and I am waiting for warmer weather to fix

True that! Brake fluid or any lube is just a temporary fix, and may be not be that much help at that...

too cold to work out there for long... ughh.

note that brake fluid can strip paint so be careful using it.
