Headlights completely loose on '92 940 GL
The headlights on my '92 940 GL are completely loose and one points precariously to the ground. The mechanic that I use states that the "headlight adjusters" are missing or bad. I think he stated that I need between 4 and 6 of them at near $20 each.
Does this sound reasonable?
Thanks as always!

Well, these adjusters get broken when the lights get bumped which usually destroys the light since the adjusters rarely can be replaced. I don't even know who'd sell them a la carte... Pick n Pull type yards have these things available quite cheap if you have one in your area. BTW, I believe there are a total of four...

These are the single rectangular headlights? I bet your lenses aren't exactly clear anymore either... I'd just replace the whole assemblies. they bolt on from behind.
for example,
Volvo Headlight Assembly Right (740 940) URO Parts 1369604 | FCP Euro
Volvo Headlight Assembly Left (740 940) URO Parts | FCP Euro
the real volvo ones are over $300 each, but the $150 aftermarket ones seem just fine to me. nothing like a set of new lights to spiff up the looks of an older car. if your turn signals are faded, i'd consider replacing them too.
