Default Motor swap Q's

Got a 1988 745t, and a 1990 744t parts car. I want to eventually swap out the K motor. What issues would I run into swapping the 90' into the 88'? I am at the understanding that they have different fuel injection systems, but would I really have an issue? The 90' motor is undergoing a small rebuild with some mods. Cam, brown tops, 15g turbo, and 3inch exhaust after install. Am I in for trouble, or will I not be regretting this?

Simplest thing in the world. Yes, the 90 car uses LH2.4 rather than the LH2.2 of the earlier car. There are 2 ways to go, convert the motor to 2.2 or swap in the engine harness from the turbo car and use the turbo ecu/icu. If you convert the car to LH2.4 you will need to use the flywheel/flexplate. If you swap the motor to LH2.2, you will need to swap distributors. Personally, I prefer LH2.4, so I'd swap in the engine harness (complete w/ resistor pack and mini-harness) and swap flywheel/flexplate.
