Ok I'm new to this but my power windows on my 1990 volvo 740GL will not role up and I have checked the fuse and checked the connections to the switch box, and all seemed fine to me. Please help

 

next step is to verify power is getting to the switches on the drivers door, with a volt meter or a test light. they pass through those switches before going to the other doors.

also check the power bypass relay, 2/6, which is located in position J of the main relay panel behind the ashtray (helps to remove the cigarette lighter+tray to access the relays as they are forward from the fuses).

 

What is a switch box?

 

Check for wire breaks at the door, where the wires pass through from the body to the door: even inside the rubber housing there may be a break...
