Default Rear brakes ineffective

89 240 wagon- It's me again... I recentlycompleted an all around brake job-front and rear. In the rear I've now got new: discs, pads and calipers. Bled everything sucessfully. Now with the snow and ice, when I start it cold and the engine is running fast, I can back it up, apply the brakes, and the rear end keeps turning, pulling the car back. I can apply the hand brake and she stops. What should I look for, this can't be right, is it? I can hold the brake pedal down with my left foot and push the gas with my right and the rear end spins. Any insightwould be helpful. Thanks!! Dave

Default RE: Rear brakes ineffective

Each rear brake line has a pressure valve to prevent rear wheel lock-up. I would say they are doing what they get paid to do.
