Vacuum hose diagram
should be on a sticker under the hood somewhere, like on the radiator crossbrace ?
details vary by nationality and version, like does it have EGR ? Pulsair? is it Bosch LH2.2 or Regina/Rex ?

Bought it not running .. A noon to volvos Wanna get it started.. It's a Bosch LH2.2.. Have a bunch of fixes to do.. Distributor with hall effect sensor , ignition control module.. PCV box cleaning.. Relays etc..
well, I'm probably forgetting something but vacuum has to go to the brake booster via a fatter hose that has a one-way valve on it, it goes through the firewall to the heater/ac control, it goes to the EGR control valve if you have EGR, it goes to the charcoal canister regen valve (if you have one), I can't think of what else...
oh, if you have cruise control, it probably goes to the cruise servo, but not sure, never had a LH2.2 740 with cruise.
740 ignition advance is done electronically in the ICU so no vacuum there... (on a 240, the ICU has a vacuum connection for advance)
I think the pulsair system was only on later models...
if its not a turbo, it obviously doesn't go to the turbo wastegate or boost gauge on the dashboard.
