Default Well I think we figured out what was going on with my Volvo but

Hello I would like to ask a question about my 1985 240 5speed wagon. When we're driving on the freeway it seems that the car is is shaking. I can't feel it when we're going slow. We are having trouble with it staying started. We replaced the fuel pump and checked the injectors it starts and runs for a little bit then dies.
Oh and I would like to thank everyone who helped me and continues to.

The shaking will probably turn out to be a tire.

Default Tire and problem keeping car started

Usually when your it's a tire when you go faster it doesn't shimmy much ( you can't feel it). This the faster you go the more you feel it.

Now the other problem with it is it will start but it keeps dying. It runs for a little bit but dies. I have a 1985 240 5 speed wagon.

running a bit and dying sounds like a fuel starvation issue. that could be caused by fuel in the tank or something getting into the pump pick up, clogged fuel filter, bad/weak fuel pump relay (not sure if your set up has an injector relay). How does it rev and idle when it first starts?
