960 broken timing belt...
I bought a 93 960 from my nefew and he had broken the timing belt. When I asked him he told me it was a single cam and me trying to be nice decided to give him cash for it and try my luck.
So we took the cover off and it looks like all 24 valves are bent....what are my options?
Swap in a new head? Change all the valves (is this possible)?
what would you do? This car has ZERO rust and the rest of the car is mint. has just a little over 200K on the car.

try searching car-parts.com to find a used head or Craigslist for somebody parting out. Its possible there may be some piston damage but most likely you just bent the valves. When you ask what other motors bolt into the car - what are you thinking about - another Volvo engine or a small block Ford via a swap kit? Easy is to transplant from another 960 or replace the head.

motors from other cars? what direction have people gone that caused the less issues and is tried and tested. I'm into 4x4's and in my area of expertize I can do tons of work on the Suzuki but these cars are new to me. Car is mint and it would really pain me to just scrap a nice car.
Right now I'd love to find a good motor or even head and see about fixing it but swapping another motor might be an other direction.

Well, I'm in Michigan. 2200 miles away. Body perfect, engine great, seats worn.
This could be a problem, unless I drove it back, but then if it's that good, why part it out?
