Tom and ruggles, do you both have manual fans or climate control systems?

I have the climate control on my car. I have figured out when it's warmer outside the fan doesn't turn off....... seems weird like a sensor issue or something? Also the a/c and rec lights are flashing on the dash when I turn the car on.

Any ideas as I am digging in to it tonight

I have a climate control as well. Sometimes my a/c and rec lights flash too, but not always. Nor does the heater die all the time. Sometimes it works well, just never at the full power.

Yesterday, I tore my dash apart and checked for wiring faults but everything seemed fine. The blower motor is not cheap, that's why I would like to find out for sure, what exactly is wrong.

I am thinking about wiring a on/0ff switch directly to the fan motor and run it so when the ignition is off so does the fan. Obviously I'll have an on/off switch to control it as well
