Finally, Turbo bypassed successfully.
Yesterday evening, I got to remove the turbo by just removing 2 coolant lines and 2 oil lines and some vaccum lines from the unit and open the hinge clamp that holds the turbo to exhaust manifold and pull the turbo out.
The shaft had about 6mm play axially and could feel some play radially as well and there were sighns of oil leakage to the air intake side. There was some caking inside the turbo becuase of exhaust leaking into it. So, I removed the big spring lock and dismantelled the turbo and then by taking the small spring lock off, I was able to remove the bushing and seals. inside was all filled with lots of caking and gunk. I cleaned everything and then put the small disk back with the spring lock keeping the shaft seals and bushings out. Then I took a 3" bolt and nut and ran it through the holes where the shaft was and blocked the whole unit using some washers on both sides. Then finally assembling everything together in reverse order. Putting the BIG spring lock back and one of the coolant line benjo bolt was the hardest part.
Everything works fine after this operation other then that I dont see the turbo gauge going into the positive region. But the problems I got rid of are :
1- No more blowby - which i think was caused by exhaust leaking into the crankcase.
2- No more oil leakage.
3- One less thing to break - Bulletproof engine now - turbo was the weakest link.

Overall the drive is little sluggish then before but atleast there will be no leaking oil problems in future. I am still planning to bypass the intercooler part but I will have to fabricate/modify some tubings to do that.

How hard is it to remove the intercooler?
