96 850 glt automatic. My wife bought me a new shift **** for xmas, mine worked fine except for all of the rubber cracking and falling off. It seems the threads I've read are on manual stick shifts not automatic. How do I get the old one off and replace the new one? If this helps the part # from Volvo is 6843475 or IPD 120741.
