Default How Long Are These Cars Good For?

I saw a thread at another forum asking people to list the most miles they've seen on an 850, and the highest one was around 240k, which doesn't sit well with me considering mine is 20k miles short of that number. Anyone here see or hear of any with over 300k on the original engine and tranny?

I've got 235k on mine and fully expect a MINIMUM of 300k. Shooting for 500k...

It has a lot to do with how you take care of them and how far you're willing to go with the time and money...like a lot of other things you might say.

I had an engine go on one of mine at 206K and I thought that was way too early. I have a feeling that three teenagers learning to drive in it and my lead foor may have had something to do with it going so young. In hindsight, I would still have that car with another engine.

Yeah it all depends on how the previous owner or owners took care of it and now most importantly how you take care of it.

You should fully expect to see at least 300,000 miles if you take good care of the car. Don't beat on it too much, etc...

Also threre is a ton of 850 out there with Broken odometers.
So they really don't even keep track of the milage.

I have seen a few with over 300,000 miles and going strong.

I personally have seen one that has 312,000 on it. Regular preventative maintenance is the key

Mine has 271,000km on the clock. Intending to change the transmission from Auto to Manual before she hits the 300,000kms.

Mine was strong as hell at 157,000 miles. My old landlord's was well over 200k and there are a few local 850's over 300k.
