I'm pretty sure it wont. I was told that you have to get those programmed at the stealer.

Did all 850's have an alarm and remote door locks? He does have the red LED light that blinks whenever he locks the door with the key.Glenn
Mine came with no remotes too. You need to pull the glove box out to see the receiver for the remote entry. It's the little black box on the right in the picture. You need to pull the FCC number off of it. If you order a transmitter with the identical FCC number it will work with your vehicle no matter if it's two, three or four button. Only the buttons the receiver is programmed for will work so if all four don't work that may be normal. I purchased four button remotes and only three work.

I purchased a new pair for around 35 bucks which I thought was very cheap but they've held up well, about a year now. Only problem is the icons on the buttons wore down quickly. If you pay more I think they'd be better quality but it's easy enough to remember lock, unlock

Try Ebay or Craigslist. The electronics are different but a lot of the plastic cases are the same so the back off a similar transmitter, same dimensions would fit. Might even find one still in the ignition of a car at the salvage yard. Rare but possible.

If you are asking if you car has it the only way I know is to pull the glove box and see if you can find the receiver for the keyless entry/security system. You will need to get the FCC number off of it to match up with the transmitters if you go to buy them.

The receiver is the black box on the passenger side of the opening for the glove box.

So I got a used remote from a member of the forum an programmed it yesterday. Works great bu I am wondering if when I lock the doors should the horn sound a beep the way most cars do? The side marker lights do flash once.

Mine doesn't beep when it's locked. At least not if you only press it once.

Mine doesn't flash or beep either. There is a red light in the middle of the dash that lights solid for the first 30 seconds, then flashes.

When you lock the doors with the remote, you will hear it for blocks, as good as a beep. LOL

My 95 flashes the side markers once and then you just have the red light in the center of the dash that blinks. That little red light on mine can only be seen when it is dark out.
