nice job. I didnt know you had recently acquired the yellow 850...btw, im an audio guy. so im wondering why you didnt take any pix of your trunk [&:]

btw, not sure what you mean about replacing the HU and the factory amp. If you already installed the subs and an amp, you would have had to run power and remote wire to the trunk anyway.

Yes I love the car.

I haven't gotten to much into looking at the factory amp setup which in behind the radio in the dash. I might have to rerun a ton of wiring to install the HU but not 100% sure yet.
When I pull the dash to do the Evaperator I will look it all over good.

I didn't take pics of the trunk yet because the box isn't covered and is made out of plywood. Also is isn't sitting straight at the moment it hits the C/D changer(Which doesn't work) So I might rip the changer out and install the box good.

Look at it this way, anything is possible if you put your mind to it. If you plan on replacing the HU, there should be an adapter that plugs right into the factory harness. If not, a simple DMM and some patience can help you figure out which wires are acc/constant +12 and that is all you really need if you plan on upgrading all the speakers and powering them all with aftermarket amps. Whenever you are ready, make sure NOT to use the factory ground. They usually induce noise(alternator whine) when you upgrade to aftermarket HU's. then it is just a matter of running rca's and speaker wires to the amp and speaker locations.

oh yeh, make sure to click the link in my sig to see how I relocated the factory dvdrom nav unit from the trunk to under the front passenger seat in an acura tls...

If you want alot more help, i moderate at caraudioforum.com...later and good luck!
