Out of the blue my 850 can't be shifted out of neutral. I tried the manual shiftlock procedure as per the owners manual and that won't work either. Where do I start troubleshooting? "Darn new fangled cars!"

Are there any dash lights?

This happens when my ABS light comes on but the shiftlock override works for me.

 

Dash lights all seem to be functioning correctly. TD

 

pull out the center counsel and check the micro switch and the small cable/cam
