Nevermind I figured its just like a NorthStar and just leave the cap off.

All done with the radiator.

It was a BEYOTCH!!

About the same as the PCV...lol.

So, run down of all new parts in the past week:

Rear shocks, mounts
Radiator, thermostat
Full PCV system
External engine oil cooler
Coolant flush (obviously)

Next is to do an oil change and eventually get an alignment.

Now, I need to figure out a way to quiet the rattly interior panels.

But hey! She drives!

Seems to boost better too.

You sure it was not a BAYWATCH?

Reminds me of the guy who used to talk to his Trans-AM. At about the same period there were guys who used to fly a modded BELL-222 chopper that could fly at Mach 1.0[&:].

The hardest part is that my junk ancient Craftsman jack sucks and can't do JACK SHIIII!!!...lol

We took the old radiator out from the bottom and got the new one in through the top.

I have put about 25 miles on it tonight.

Additionally, upon first test drive, I noticed a loud clunk noise in the rear. I was like...aw hail no. Kept getting louder...so I pulled over.

Turns out that I didn't tighten the wheel bolts down the other night when I did the shocks...LOL.

Pretty smooth now too. Eventually I will install the spring pads, and the bump stop pins I bought.

But for now, I have two great cars. What more could I ask for?

Oh yeah...I'm getting a Ranger for $350...hahaha

I drove it to Indianapolis and back today (which is 150 miles one way from my house). I had no trouble whatsoever.

Faint smell of fuel though. I think its those blue rings. So, I'll stop by Jordan Volvo sometime this week.

Finally, I got time to do PCV on mine yesterday. got all new parts (liek full kit) from the Stealership and started stripping...the car....ofcourse. When I took the mainfold off, allthe parts under there looked quite new over the fact that 3 out of 4 clamps were left loose (not clinched - volvo clamps). i removed the oil catch and checked all the tubings everything looked fairly clean and solid. The small tubing (#11 in diagrams) that goes with the main big tube was different on my engine. it goes from PTC to the metal tubing under the plastic cover on the top of the engine and then to the throttle body side of the manifold unlike to the other side. I checked everything and nothing looked older then couple of months. i gave a quick wash to the oil catch and checked all the ports - All OK.
There was no weight difference between the new oil catch and the one i pulled out and i checked it by blowing through all ports and everything looked gud.
So, I assembled everything back using new gasket and all clamps.
I STILL SEE VERY LITTLE BLOW BY BUT THAT GOES AWAY AS I REV THE ENGINE UP TO ABOUT 1500 RPM. Basically, I see just a little fume cloud during idling but no big blow by when its reved a little up. I have cleaned the PTC with lots of brake cleaner.

What is the electrical connector to PTC and what doesthat do? Any troublshooting to be performed on that part?

Is this normal?

Perhaps you have done the PCV system incorrectly?

Take it to a shop and pay for an inspection if you can't get it.

I'm dealing with a fuel smell right now.

Pretty sure its the injector O-rings.

Where do think are the possibilities to do it wrong? Please suggest.
Its a very straight forward design and simple to understand other then the PTC part of it and the smaller ID tubing going from PTC to the manifold.
