Probably the funniest problem ever. Wipers Won't stop!
If I try and use the windshield waster fluid motor to spray on the windsheild, the wiper blades immediately go into top speed and will NOT STOP no matter what I do with the control lever. I turn the car off, and back on, and they are going max speed, as are the headlight blades. I almost fell over laughing..
I pulled the fuse, put it back in, turned the car on, still GOES!. I pulled the fuse off, drove around a little bit, put the fuse back in, and they stopped. lollll
I can use the wiper blades, just not the washer motor. What gives? I should get a video...

One alternative to this problem is to make the car a "Rainy Day Only" vehicle.

Will look up the manual after work to see what I come up with. Could be stuck-closed relay if the wiper/washer uses a relay.

I discovered an unplugged connection behind the driver's headlamp & plugged it in. The next time I used the windshield washer, the drivers' headlight wiper would not stop running & also it sounded like it was trying to keep pumping fluid.
[ EDIT: The motor is running, but the wiper is not moving. When I touch the motor, it "wobbles" and I get the impression that a support is broken. ]
Is there a way to repair the motor, or at least inspect it to see if something is stuck.
How do you remove the motor?
Some one posted this diagram of the front headlamp washer hose routing & part numbers:

Also neither headlamp wiper actually squirts fluid. The rear window doesn't either ( 1995 850 Turbo wagon).
How do I remove the washer fluid reservoir so I can inspect everything?

Just had this problem with my R reg V70. Disconnecting the headlamp wipers (simple push fit brown plastic connectors lying on top of the headlamp housings) resolved the problem. I'll just live without the headlamp wipers.
