Default sway bar

hi.. 96 850 wagon.. just noticed that the front sway bar has play in it. it moves form side to side. driver to passenger. a while ago i replaced the bar mount bushings with polly. does this matter or not. the bushing mounts have washers between the frame and the mount.. i could remove them to get a tighter fit. the poly bushing are the same id as the oem ones. thanks

there should be a little bit of play in it. as the car corners, there's generally going to be some (a small amount) of side-to-side movement. if it's not rattling, and your end links are good, I wouldnt worry about it.

I agree but the bar should not be able to move with your hands. If it does I would take those washers out.
