Im sorry if this is a little bit out of the thread but I'm desperate of help on my volvo 850 non turbo which is leaking transmission fluid and coolant under the radiator left side or in the drivers side the leaks kind of a mix of the coolant and the transmission fluid.. any help what's the probable cause? and also kinda hard to start it takes 3 to 4 sec. to start.

 

an 850 is a *completely* different car than a 240/740/940.

that said, if this was happening on a 740/940, I'd suspect the radiator which on many model has an embedded transmission cooler.

The 850 does use the same concept where the trans cooler is built into the radiator. If you are seeing both fluids leaking its probably the actual connection point that is bolted to the radiator. Its either loose or you need a new radiator.
