I think I know what I'm going to do for my foglight switch, but I just wanted to let Gilber know what I'm doing for a switch. The only thing i have in question is how the dash light will light up with the fog light switch is on. What I just tested to see if the heated seat switch works with the rear fog light and it does. This has the LED that lights up when it is in the on position. You can try and piece togeather your own switch by using the heated seat switch with the fog light face plate to get that light up that Boxpin has.

I have the oem fog light switch, I just didn't have the connector on the harness that everyone else has. But I guess 94s are different and in order to hook up the fog light switch you need the harness that connects to yellow plug under my dash (that's what the picture is).

Search ebay for it, I think that's where the guy said he got it, or give the dealer a call, see how much they want for it. I know though, it's really dumb, but it makes sense. I think it wasn't until 95 that the Volvo had a model in the US that came stock with fogs, which was the T5-R. I"m guessing a lot of the Euro 850s probably had fogs in 94. So when 95 came around and they were making cars with stock fogs, they probably just threw the connector on all the harnesses for production reasons. That's my guess.

If it has fogs, grab the harness.

Gilber: It has fogs. Get me a diagram of which wires exactly you need and I'll do it. I'll call and ask how much he wants.

Boxpin:I think you can get them fairly cheap from the dealership new. I called in a few weeks ago and they wanted around 45-55 for the set. I think this guy wants 15 a piece for it, so PM me know if you really want it and I'll let you know.

The thing that sucks about this is that it is not a pick and pull

I'll already sent the guy money for the parts. I'm getting the harness/plug connector and all relays brand new for 25 shipped. Go snag that stuff for yourself man, get the fogs and everything.

I tried taking pictures but it's really hard when I can't even fit my head underneath the front bumper anymore. I'll try again later today.

215s? They do look really good on the wheel. I think I'm going to go with 195/45/17. 205 at the biggest.
I am running 215/45/17's om mine now with the aftermarket wheels and no rubbing at all.

I want a tad of stretch though. I think the 195/40/17 look's sexy on this size wheel, but I don't think it would look good without a serious drop. I want some tire tuck in the fenders, and I don't know if you would get that with a 40 or not. Tyrestretch.com gives you a good idea of tire size on wheels.

I know one thing you will get. That is a SH**** ride!
I am running 205/40/17's on my stock wheels at this moment and it is Horrible!!!
You can almost feel every pebble in the road. You will also have to watch really good. If you hit a pothole you can bend a rim or blister a tire. I have blistered 3 205's already due to potholes.

Maybe I'll stick with the 45s then. I'm not going bigger than 205 though. Plus I'll be riding on Bilstein HDs, so I'm already in for one bumpy ride, but I'm fine with that.

Oh, and only one more wheel to prep and then they're all ready for paint, which is probably happening this weekend. At least the primer and base coat. Don't know if I'll get to clear or not.

Well good luck on the combo. After running the 215's now I would never go back to 205 unless they are FREE.

I have no reason to grab the fogs. I already have fogs that outperform the stock projectors! I might grab the harness though. I kind of want a foglight switch. I'm thinking about making my own anyways. How much can these switch handle amphre wise?

If you can see how much they want for the fogs.

Nowhere close to powering a 55w+ bulb. Use a relay or burn up your switch.
