I found a tire shop in Sacramento that just has screaming deals. I priced two tires for the car at $225 at Americas Tire, went to this place and it was $208...for FOUR...out the door. I could not believe it, but there they are. I have since told others. My Bro in law picked up 4 for $560 for his Ford that he was getting quotes for $1000. This place is crazy, they just move tires.

I still cannot get that R bumper to mount properly!!!! It is still slightly off on both sides. I think during my spring break, since I have to mount the fogs anyways, I'm taking off the bumper and will mount the ARRRRR bumper properly, especially since the mounting holes where the R bumper cover mounts to are completely trashed on the upper bumper.

And then fix my bumper sag right away too from fighting with the bumper so much.

Anyone have any tips on how to fix bumper sag??? It's sagging right along the fenders. I know there's the two mounts on both sides that mounts it right there, I just don't know what to do to make it more stiff.

(that's what she said)

New goody for the car. May not look like much, but it is. It's a cam timing tool. These were sold by Quick Brick Motorsports, but then they went out of business. So someone on VS just recently made 7 of these and I grabbed one. It may seem dumb to spend $43 on a round pieces of metal with some lines, but to be able to precisely dial in my cam timing is pricelss to me.

Woot! I got some pictures of the wiring of the 93 with fogs at the junkyard for you. I'm not sure how much it will help, but I'll post some.

Awesome, yeah I wanna see what it looks like.

Anyways, took a break from studying to work on my car a bit, I was starting to miss her. Started her and let her warm up for a bit, then shut it down, haven't driven it in 3 weeks now. I have a bunch of pictures, just waiting for photobucket to upload them.

I'm working on it. By Sunday you won't even know it was there. I mean, you remember what my trunk looked like right?

And then when I was all done:

Trust me, by the time I'm done with the car, there won't be a spot of rust on it. I have to repaint the other fender lip too because the paint is starting to separate and I want to get to it before it turns into rust.

Do it. I've seen a couple that have turned out pretty decent.

Yeah, Gotta figure it all out first. I kind of want an R looking lip, where it goes out and a little bit down, but yeah. Home Depot or Lowes would be a good place to look?

I assume, I dunno, I've never looked into that. I like the home depot lips, but I think they work the best on the 200/700 series. Just because the front bumper sticks so far out on 850s as it is, and dropping the lower spoiler straight down, just makes it even goofier looking. If you do make one, I would try and do what you said, make it stick out some how.

If you wanted to go all out. You could get PCV pipe, cut it in half for the rounded look, and then just cut series of wedges for the curves, brace it all from the inside, sand it down really good, bondo/mesh on the outside to smooth it out and strengthen. And the sand to finish it.

Fender is rust converted, primed, bondo'd and smoothed out.

Rear bumper is sanded primed, sanded, bondo'd, smoothed out, primed.

I wish I had pictures because the results were, I think, really really good. The fender doesn't look perfect, I mean, it's not perfectly smooth (it could be with a little more bondo, which I may or may not do) but for how bad it looked before, it's 100x better.

At least you have a readily available paint color.

Oh man I know. After I decided that I was sticking with my sedan, I started thinking; Damn, if I ever want to paint something on my wagon, I'll have to order paint or pay someone else to paint it. Black FTW.
