My 1995 volvo 850's heat doesnt work on the passenger side, the heat works fine on the driver side, but on the passenger side no air comes out of the upper vents, and i think it might be clogged cause some stuff came out of the driver side vents, like dirt and stuff, and could someone tell me how to unclog the vents? and the cabin air filter has nothing in it.

 

Are the vents on that side closed?

 

no they are all open and the divers side world fine

 

Is it MCC or ECC?

 

it is ECC

Easiest way check is do you have colors for temps or numbers?
Colors=MCC
Numbers=ECC

 

ok then it is ecc then

 

Maybe the motor for the passenger side is not working.
Does the controls still work for defrost and floor vents?
If not then maybe the controller is bad.

 

the defrost for the passanger side and the floor for the passenger both work fine, just the face vents on the passenger side dont work

 

There should be 2 blend motors on the passenger side. It might be one of them. I do not have the diagram handy on which one is which.
