Oh really? I found one online for only like 140 bucks, I figure that's not too bad. Jenkins, the local Volvo dealership, wanted like 336 dollars for one. So, unfortunately, no matter which way, I have to wait a week or so for one.

I believe Behr is the OEM supplier?

Oh nice. Thanks. Those are pretty cheap. At least the heater core is really that hard to replace.

If anyone else has any ideas of what else I could expect to wear out around the 200,000 mile mark, your input would be greatly appreciated as I would rather replace parts before they wear out, leaving me stranded somewhere.

Addressing the initial issue: car OVERHEATED due to coolant loss which caused the OIL to thin out and reduce oil pressure and trigger the OIL LIGHT... and with 230K, the engine may be tired as well as the rest of the car...

After I thought about it for a while I figured that the coolant loss triggered the oil light.

The suspension is fine, I'm replacing a tension link on the front passenger, with the engine in pieces right now I am getting a better look at it, and with the intake off, surprisingly, the inside of the engine looks fairly clean, a lot better than I expected. I did find however a couple intercooler hoses that look like they could blow at any second, so I'm going to replace those, as well as both upper enging bushings (there is really nothing left of either of those). The bottom engine mount was replaced a few months ago.

After this overhaul of a tune up, a lot of the issues should be taken care of.
