I been looking for the self test thing and i cant locate it...it says behind left tower but left looking at the car? or left sitting in the car?

either way its not visable...is it near the fuse panel under the hood

 

On the 850 it is located by the Washer bottle fill tube.
It sits on the front of the engine and trans. control module box.

In case anyone searches and finds this post.

It is 2 small boxes next to one another with covers on them.About 2 inches x 1 inch each black .on the passenger side toward the front near the washer fill bottle as tech said.

And its pretty cool to have a full self testing diagnostic system on board,I m going to look in my owners book right now,I think I recall a few pages of code definitions in it .
