2008 C30 T5 losing antifreeze, rough starts and idling
Hey everyone, brand new to the forum - sorry in advance for my newbieness.
Recently bought a 2008 C30 T5, 145000 miles, automatic. Just replaced the PCV breather system which fixed the vacuum whistling I had. Now it's losing lots of antifreeze. I believe it's leaking while in motion as there isnt much leaking when the car isn't moving. I see a small amount of antifreeze leaking down from directly under the coolant resevoir. The bigger issue is that whenever I start the car first thing in the morning it takes 3 or 4 tries before the car finally starts, then it idles ROUGH for a minute. The car has very little power even once warmed up. if I step on the gas it barely responds for a second, then will catch up. Check engine light is lit. Starts pretty well throughout the day, typically just the morning takes a few times to start.
From what I just said, what would your experience tell you? I am going to track down the leak and try to switch out each coil pack in case thats the problem. Looking for some experts to chime in. Thanks in advance!
