I'm having the same issue..the passenger door indicator light will come on then the door open (ajar) itself. My top is up and it does it at various speeds. This has happened to me 3 months ago (4 times) and started back tonight..once. I love, love, love Isis but if she tryna eject my passenger..she will be SOLD to the highest bidder!!!! Volvo need to fix this problem before something bad happens and get their pants sued off 'em!!!!!

 

If I am not mistaken, maybe it could be problem in cable which comes from the body to the door. There is a connector in the door (it loks like a SCART connector) and the corrosion makes the fault. The connector contacts were formerly silver-plated and the new one is gold-plated. I tried to clean the contacts - no success when I solved this problem in the driver's side and VOLVO service said that they must change the both connectors (as Female as Male pieces). Cost was cca 220 €
