does anyone know how to manually lower a retractable hardtop. mine needed a new control module (per volvo dealer). the top would go down but not up. the dealer manually raised the top and it seems to have taken the pressure out of the system so now the rear cover won't "lock". i have a new module to install but i can't lower or raise the top because there's no pressure in the system. the motors are good and not leaking. there was obviously pressure in the system before the dealer lowered it and couldn't raise it. is tere any bypass that would lower the top?

 

In the trunk just behind the rear seat under the grey trim is the hydraulic pump for the hardtop there is a brass thing with gaskets sticking up if the pressure has been released, press it down gently you can rotate it a bit aswell so you dont damage the gaskets. Thats how you restore pressure to the RHT. Have a look in your handbook and it should be described
