well i finally got my rear seats upholstered to their new colors. the stitching is just the way i wanted it, the only thing is the read material used for the panels is a different shade of red than used on the seats. hey you have to work with what you have sometimes. if i can find the red micro-fiber material, all this may come back out to get done over.






my next step will be the front seats. i wanna replace them with these and again using the frames from the factory seats to retain the power seat memory, if it can't be done then i'll just replace them.


after the front seats will come the carpet replacement (red floorpan carpet and black C70 mats on top) then i'll fix the mistakes i make doing the interior and maybe adding some carbon-fiber interior parts to cover up the woodgrain.

Looking good Eatr. BTW are you doing the sewing or is a local shop doing it for you? Was wondering what brand of leather or vinyl you were using as I am doing an interior swap but I am looking for the a good deal on some high quality leather and suede material.

 

i have this mexican friend i used to work with and he does furniture rehab and he did this work for me. the black is vinyl and the red is some kind of red stuff.

do a google search and see what you can find. then look in some furniture stores at the labels on the couches and see who made it and what material they used, then call that manufacture for fabric maybe. i really wanted everything in micro-fiber
