I have a 2012 c70 and love it, but all of sudden it started beeping with the message "top malfuction" or stop safely to avoid top damage". I reset the top several times, but no help. I took it in to volvo dealer, they suggested new control top module and wiring harness totally over $2000. I asked for refurbished parts if possible, so the control top module is used $970 and new wiring harness $470 fixed the problem...... for a week. The beeping is back an the top will not open or close. I called Volvo they said unfortunately that happens with used parts. UGH! Has this happened to anyone else?
